To organise a pickup, simply place your order online and select Local Pickup at checkout, we’ll then email you with the pickup procedure πŸ‘πŸ» All shipped online orders to lockdown areas will still receive bonus Express Post until July 15th so you can get cracking on your iso projects pronto! I know many, many of you are working on face masks right now (πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»), we are currently completely sold out of all small elastic, I have ordered more but am unsure whether the distributor will actually have any stock - will let you all know as soon as I know!

So great to have these shelves filled up again πŸ˜ƒ Yes, the new Cuff and Kaftan Dress Patterns are sold out but all the other brilliant The Assembly Line patterns are in stock! I can’t rave about these enough, really - they are perfectly drafted and the instructions are clear and easy to follow. Between Amanda (@theweaversworkroom) and I in the shop, we’ve made almost all of them and both highly, highly recommend πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ» (I’m wearing one of my Hoodie Dresses right now, in fact!) We’ve received confirmation that our The Assembl We’ve received confirmation that our The Assembly Line pattern restock is arriving tomorrow!!! πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒ This is the main reason we’re staying open this week, to accept these three huge boxes of pattern joy and send out all the preorders so you folks can start MAKING πŸ™ŒπŸ» The new Kaftan Dress and The Cuff Dress in the smaller sizes are sold out but we have stock remaining of everything else, including the ever popular Cuff Top, which is now also available in a redrafted fit for busts up to 138cm! So, yes, six weeks of lockdown ahead for us in Mel So, yes, six weeks of lockdown ahead for us in Melbourne. Not unexpected, unfortunately, but still takes some reckoning with to accept. But we can do this! We’re pros at this! ESPECIALLY us crafty folk. At Fibresmith, we will remain open the rest of this week, our planned hours of 10am til 2pm daily til Friday and 10am til 4pm Saturday, with a limit of 8 people in the shop at any time and hand sanitiser at the ready. This will hopefully allow people to grab their local pickups (happy to do curb side pickup or send them by post if needed, just get in touch) and allow us to accept a few coming deliveries plus handle the online orders which are flooding in. As for the following weeks, I’m still working out how we will manage the shopfront - the online shop will of course remain open throughout and we should be able to do one or two sessions of local pickups weekly at the very least. I’ll keep you all posted on any and all changes. Keep rolling, friends, we got this xx

Pattern is by @savoryknitting and available on @hi.ravelry, yarn is the Dooish 3757 Woodlands held together with a strand of custom dyed Kid Silk & Mohair (although it would be just as lovely in the Dooish alone. I left the mohair off for the cuffs and bands and they feel great too!). I made the second size and used under four skeins πŸ™ŒπŸ» Also wearing my Free Range Slacks yet again, size 8 in the Washer Finish Linen in Charcoal Black for a super comfy and toasty warm outfit πŸ₯°
